Court Painting

Pickleball Court Color Selection

Below are some pictures of courts I’ve painted. The idea is to give you an idea of color options the way they come out in real life because, unfortunately, sometimes the color swatches you see online don’t translate to the final surface.

For example, the greens, grays and blues can be tricky. It’s the different “shades of gray” theory but to colors. As I like to say, one man’s forest green is another man’s light green. (I hope this makes sense.)

I recommend clicking on one of the photos so you can move forward and backward within the gallery and look at an enlarged photo rather than these thumbnails. All of these were painted with SportMaster. I listed the colors from the outside in.

Now that you see them, you can look at the SportMaster Color Chart in my article on “Tennis Court Color Selection Tips” to see the differences. When deciding on colors, many of the tips in that article apply to pickleball court color selection, too.

When you look at the color swatches, many of the colors will look darker on the swatch than the picture. Even with these pics, the colors vary depending upon the shade and angle of the sun.

Here is a video with more examples.
